Braces / Invisalign Repair or Replacement

If you have braces or Invisalign, you should know there will come a time when they require repair or replacement.  Invisalign aligners are replaced at specific intervals.  Those who wear braces might require wire or bracket repair.  Don’t panic.  Reach out to our Miami dentist at (305) 270-5505 and we will repair or replace your Invisalign aligners or braces.  We can also provide help during your initial phone call, providing tips that will help you get your braces back in partial working order until you visit our office for a comprehensive repair.

If your braces break, don’t assume you did something wrong.  Braces are designed to cause the teeth to move and shift, meaning the wire will protrude out of the bracket at some point down the line.  Our dentist, Dr. Alvarez, will trim the wire as necessary.  Dr. Alvarez can also replace the entire wire if necessary.  Aside from broken wires, we also perform braces repair when brackets become dislodged. 

If you have Invisalign aligners and notice they do not fit as they should or have been compromised, don’t assume they will work as intended.  Be proactive by contacting our dental office for assistance and we will repair your Invisalign aligners or potentially even replace them with the next set to continue the gradual movement of your teeth into the proper position.
